W36 L36

I was in Royal Oak last night. I have posted before that the downtown area, which consists of a couple blocks, is always hopping with people in the summertime. As I sat outside people watching, I began to notice something.

A men vs woman fashion statement.

Men will wear jeans with their size plastered right out there, to be read by anyone, no matter how big or small it is.

And, they had no problem when I took their picture, never even asked me why I was taking it.

Can you imagine a woman ever wearing her clothing size tag to be seen by all?

I know some women that cut the tag off on the inside ... even when no one will see it.

*sigh* ... the mental freedom of some things that men have.

If I wore a size 6, maybe. But other than that, I'm not advertising what size I am!

I've never seen a guy with a waist over a 38 with his size just out there like that, I think guys are just as vain we are...

I just shopped for jeans; I can wear them in 3 different sizes, but refuse to buy the largest of those sizes, isn't that NUTS? I understand that it takes the same amount of fabric to wrap my big ass, no matter what the number on the tag...but I just can't buy that largest tag, no matter the logic.

I just followed my way over here from another blog, but now I'm freaking out. I have not thought about the tags on the back of pants. I wear guys pants all the time! They are cheaper and I like cargo pants. Now I have to worry about sizes!

Mary: Unfortunately, I have seen larger men with the levi tags ... but then again, when you are bigger, there really is no hiding it.

GnG: "it takes the same amount of fabric to wrap my big ass" ... so you've seen me leaving? lol

Nikki: don't worry, women can get away with wide belts, or rip the tag off.

Biddy: Hey, I am talented like that ... but I only do it when I am in a public yucky womans room.

Ha! swear I just gave this whole tag topic thought about a month ago while washing a pair of my husbands Levis.
If they were my jeans, I would rip the tag off before ever wearing them.
