My .02 Cents Worth ...

Of course, at the time postage went to .41 cents, I had rolls and rolls of .39 cent stamps at work. I bought the .02 cent stamps, but for the first week I kept getting back my sent mail because I kept forgetting to add the extra stamp.

I like the .02 cent stamps ... they are pretty and I can be creative. (Enter, the the strait-jacket)

I'll bet nobody else can say that their CPA called to tell them their stamping abilities are artistic and creative. ( I don't think I heard a chuckle, he must have just had a tickle in his throat) I didn't get a picture of the first envelope that went to his firm ... it was in a circle, with the .02 cent stamps in the center.

Here's what went out today.

Now I wonder, who has too much time on their hands?
Me or him?

But, but...I can't see it!

I had about 50 of those suckers left over from the first time rates went up and forgot about them. Bought 100 more the second time because I knew I had a whole roll of stamps I hadn't even opened yet. Since I do most of my bill pay on line I will probably still have them the next time rates go up. :)

Jess: Oh you are SO missing out, lol

San: good when we hit .43, I will buy yours before I go to the P.O.

LOL...way too much time on your hands! I wish I had time (and could get away with) for creativity like this at work!

Us CPA's don't have personalities so you must have been mistaken.

I had the same problem...I bought a roll of 100 stamps not long before the change...I can not, for the life of me, get my rattled brain to remember to add the other stamp! UGH!
