I asked her why and she said that maybe he'd stop being mean to the kids and making them cry.

And really...how much does one make doing that "job" during the holidays, anyway? It would take a very special person to put up with that, I would think!! Maybe the smiling, laughing kids make up for those crying one, huh? :-D
