I've got an eleven month notice that it's coming.
Yet still, I can't believe it's December, and 2009 is staring us down.
I suppose I could try to get in the spirit .
I'm going to do a count down to Christmas over on the side bar with Santa photos.
And I'll probably get all sappy with music and videos, like this one.
Go ahead. I dare you not to get a lump in your throat or teary eyes watching this.(warning at 2:09 and 2:25, tissue required)
Just don't forget what these men and women are doing for our country.
Daily.
Even on Christmas Day.

Thanks Nancy.
My youngest will be 17 in 3 weeks. December 1st always shocks me, too.
and soon another year will have passed. amazing.
Dude. Gah. It's too early in the morning for me to be so emotional.
Thanks Nancy...I think...snork, blubber, blubber, snock...
The farther I get from childhood, the less I like Christmas. I think we should just rename December, "Spend Like Crazy" month.
Thanks for the blubber fest, oh just don't get 'the why' of it all..
Love this time of year tho all the decorations and pretty lights, others not me too much work *lol*.. Now if we could just get some much needed snow here.
Do you think I can drop 30 pounds in 30 days? That was my New Year's resolution for 2008, lol.
