Being Australian I am guessing they are marshmallow (or as you Yanks say marshmEllow) confection.

So the pasties, they made of chocolate?

Kelly: Yep, their brand name is "Peeps" and they taste awful!

But they are good for making a diorama.

Somebody has way too much time on their hands.

LMAO!! You are one decidedly creative and crazy chick (of course that pun was intended in keeping with the theme you've got going here). And I love the attention to detail!

this, in my estimation, is the best use for Peeps (gawd those things taste terrible!!!).

Peeps taste good when they're stale. But only the yellow chicken peeps. They're the original ;-)

Sherry: Blech...they taste bad indeed.

NO, I didn't make this!

*mine would have the chicks dancing and the bunnies waiting on the playboys ... maybe Swedish Fish representing the male trollers. [snort]

Actually it's pretty cool to toast them on a stick over a fire--they do this shrively thing.

I love Peeps!

I don't really like the taste, either, but they are cute and rather stretchy and so must be eaten at least once yearly.

So cute!
