IMHO, David Cook has already won.If he doesn't make it all the way through, he still has won.
I thought his performance of Lionel Richie's "Hello" a couple weeks ago was awesome.
Last night he did it again. Even Simon, the one who can find fault with everyone, said to attempt this, you'd have to be insane or amazing.

Without doubt, this kid has Talent with a "T" -- you can see how comfortable he is in his own skin, that he exudes confidence...it's real, not manufactured and he feels every note he sings.
Your humble opinion is correct. David Cook will sell records even if mormon bloc-voting gives the title to someone else.

He was so frigging awesome last night, he brought me to tears. I love that song, I love him, and I adored his version of it.
I even voted for him, and I never bother with the voting.
Yep - he definitely had the best performance on Tuesday night. I also loved his version of Hello... he's got the whole rock ballad thing down.
