It still amazes me that I get e-mails asking, "Are you okay? You haven't posted in a couple days?"
I do the same thing to the writers of the blogs I read, but still, I'm verklempt when I get an e-mail of concern. Not all people we meet online are wacko or have ulterior motives. (But I have met a few in that category.) Proof that it just depends on who's pond you're dipping your toes in.
I've noticed a few bloggers with "writer's block" this month. I think there is so much being written before and during the holiday, the peacefulness found after the hustle and bustle is gone, trickles down to abandoning our blogs for a few days.
2009 has started off good for me. I'm happy and looking forward to a year better than the last. A good friend and I are in the process of developing a project that's fun and hopefully will show some profit. As we get ready to launch, I'll tell more.
My kids are doing well, my fish is still alive (hasn't pooped yet, but still alive), I still have my job (Michigan is #1 on the unemployment charts) but, mother nature paid a visit to Michigan and dumped a ton of snow on us this past weekend.
*Mistress Evil didn't mind the snow. She always finds something interesting to do when she's snowed in.
*I know family, TMI, just pretend you don't know me.

i'm so glad you're back...and really? the Mistress Evil picture? an alternative title could be:
"Don't you wish your girlfriend was hawt like me?"
and only toes in ponds? i think we know each other wayyy better than just toes!! just saying!
I get like this too and then ill blog about a pencil on my desk or something ridiculously stupid and it all comes back. I think sometimes you have to jump back into it!

It doesn't take much for my boys to start hollering, TMI. I do some things on purpose just to get to them. I have been posting but mine are getting further and further apart.
I totally dress like that too when I'm snowed in and cleaning house =)
