My Five Cents Worth

Last Sunday Don asked me how many nickles I would have if I received one for each time I ... well wait, that's not the point.
( get your mind out of the gutter)

The point being my answer was "ONE".
( and that's only if you pay me my nickel Don )

With my on-going "shifting directions" in my life, changing up my ideas, and planning for my future, his question did get me thinking.

There are many "firsts" still to be had/discovered by me. I'm not talking about the major life changing, obvious ones, I'm talking about the little things in my day to day life. The ones you experience and are aware of once you slow down and "stop to smell the roses."

What about you?

If asked the question "How many nickles would you have ..." what have you done that you'd have to answer ONE, but wish you could say, "So many, I can't count them."

oooh that's a good question...now I'm going off to think because nothing is coming to me off the top of my head...well, okay, maybe a few things but I want it to be something really good!!

Good for you. That's called mindfulness, and mindfulness leads to a richer, fuller life. Even in the mundane moments. : )

ME? I like to be trivial and I still have my mind in the gutter and I'm feeling so sorry for Don.

You should post that pic I sent you and put it inside a collage and see if anyone can "guess".

ONE: broken heart. That's all I care to bear. ;)

I like that, 'shifting directions'.
Thought provoking...

oh I do need to clarify my answer. One broken heart and all others have been insignificant. I don't care to bear it again, but given the chance I'm up for the challenge. I think my standards are too high. And their going to stay that way.

*I dreamed that I didn't answer you quite how you intended* Out of my mind Woman!

You're getting really deep on my woman. ;-)

And my answer? Spent time exploring a foreign city on my own.

My answer is that I packed up and moved to another part of the country (only once, but I wish I'd done it regularly).
