She is pregnant.
He had just saved her from a fire in her house.
He carried her out of the house into her front yard
then continued to fight the fire.
When he finally finished putting the fire out,
he sat down to catch his breath and rest.

A photographer from the local newspaper
noticed her in the distance looking at the fireman.
As he watched her walk towards the fireman
who had just saved her life and the lives of her babies,
he raised his camera.
She thanked him with a kiss
just as the photographer snapped this photograph.

Oh that made me cry right here at my desk. I thought it was sweet then I scrolled down and saw the picture. BooHoo, tears of love. (why do the dog love pictures get to me so much?)
What Ree said.
Love it.
Thank you, that is so nice! Happily, I can report no big bad fires lately, just a couple Jaws of Life calls where the people were safely removed from their vehicles.
I'm forwarding this to hubby, he will like it as a fireman AND a dog lover!
Cool.
Way too cute for words.
awwwwwwww...OMG! I love this! this brought tears to my eyes....thanks to all the firemen who run INTO the building as we all are running OUT...and for the undying love of dogs.
My heart is melting.
One picture, 1,000 words...and your words do it so much justice, especially the dedication ♥
