Did you see HER?

I'm sorry, with all due R-E-S-P-E-C-T to Aretha,
I think Tina is the real Queen!

At sixty eight years old, her singing and dancing duet with Beyonce was unbelievable. I think Beyonce looked nervous and intimated by the whole number.

Can't say I'd blame her. I mean could you sing Proud Mary with Tina?

That for sure is one kick ass lady.
Awesome voice and body. She is truly amazing. Aretha should take a few lessons from Tina.

No kidding. She is wonderful, I love the version of "I can't stand the rain" that she does.

I have always loved Tina (I love Aretha too but they aren't in the same category for me). I didn't watch the Grammy's but I'd have been peeing my pants if I had to sing with Tina -- I would love to sing Proud Mary with Tina but I don't suppose Tina would be too up with that!!! LOL!!

And even with all the Ike stuff, I truly believe that the way Ike was, the way he treated her "made" Tina the fantastic woman she is -- strength, courage, gutsy -- an incredible role model for women around the world.

Ok, as amazing as the performance was, and as good as Tina looks at 68, the outfit falls in the "what was she thinking" category.

Tina was the BEST part of the entire show. Hands down.

I grew up listening to Ike and Tina Turner. My parents loved them. They had a live and really long version of Proud Mary.

Hmmm...I didn't like the outfit on her, at all. It just didn't work well for her. I don't know. It looked like something Mama Beyonce created. The silver made her look heavier and denser, less diva.

And I hate saying this, but I like the other version of Proud Mary, the one by CCR. I can't help it. I just wasn't impressed. Which makes me sad, because I wanted to enjoy it, but the outfit was so distracting. Oh, fine. And I don't like Beyonce at all, either, but I've gotten good at ignoring her.

Yes, but what happened to her neck? And her dance moves?

Me thinks she's now a robot. Or the Tin Man.

But it beats out green undies as pants ANY DAY!

She really was amazing. Worth seeing, even if the rest of the Grammy's is getting a bit too young for me.
