Miss America 2008

I am not really into beauty contests or pageants. I didn't watch this one last night. BUT, is sure is nice to have a winner from Michigan. She's Kirsten Haglund, from Farmington Hill's. (Real close to where I live)

More so, it was nice to see some positive national attention on Michigan in light of last weeks ongoing mess.

Congratulations Kirsten. You go girl, represent!

I did watch it last night on TLC. I know, what a loser, on a Saturday night watching Miss America. Make us all proud Kirsten. Michigan really needs it right now.

I LOVe pageants! They are so scary and sick that I just get a kick out of watching these women. I also love those "behind the scenes" shows on pageant moms - the ones who make their four year-olds wear fake tanner and highlights? Can't. Look. Away.
