REACH !

Last year, by the time the BlogHer conference in Chicago came around, I was just figuring out what it was all about. Most of the attendees seemed to be moms gone wild getting together for a weekend to network.

The follow-up blog posts and photos proved that the conference was indeed, a useful tool in getting to know each other and establishing blackmail fees friendships.

So now, with reservations being made, roommates being chosen, and parties agendas being planned, I am trying to decide if I should go.

Have you decided yet? Are you going a day early to stalk the A Lister's have a day to just hang out? Are you looking for a person to hold your hair back while you puke roommate?

With this years theme being "Reach", that's just what I'm doing, reaching out and asking ... what are your plans?

So, {sing it}

If you are go-iiiiing to Saaan Fraan Cisco,

Be sure to wear, your name tag on your beer,

If you are go-iiiiing to Saaan Fraan Cisco,

You're going to meet some awesome people there.

Oh yeah, for the record, I will honor the rule " What happens in San Fran, stays in San Fran". And, I don't like Rice-A-Roni.

Go and have fun. Has to be better than dreary Michigan at this time of year.

I know my Mom reads you so... If my Mom goes, I'll go (I really love SF so it might be a great treat to get back to the west coast!)

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! I checked out your a la carte blog and like the idea; I'd thought of doing something like that -- but didn't!

Have fun in SF -- enjoy not being cold, and think twice about going to the zoo!

Go and have fun. If nothing else, San Francisco is a great city and you'll enjoy your visit.

That would be fun I am sure...but alas...too many kids - and expenses of kids that need to be met - for me to have my very own frivolous weekend in old San Fran.

I wish. I so wish I was going. I know you'll have fun.

We'll have to have a mini-Blogher if Bossy makes it to our part of town.

If it was on the east coast, I'd go but San Fran is a little far from me. They are having a "reach out" tour in October in my town if you are interested, email me.

I will probably go - I have to be out there around that time for something else.

I'll tell you more about what I thought of Chicago if you want - but we can go to e-mail for that.

Best,
J

Great to meet you (thanks for commenting on my "Big Question" post)! I'm actually a Michigan native now alive and well in Silicon Valley and already have my hotel room for BlogHer - YEAH!

Hopefully we can meet up for one of your "specialty" lattes while you are here.

Cheers!

I would be dangerous at a Blogger's conference. I would have no self control. It would be like a celebrity gala unprecedented with giggles, fun and....and.... Rice-A-Roni?

I am going! And I need a roomie!

But I drink a lot and tend to not sleep enough! Which I think is the theme of the conference!

I'm not going I have too many horses to take care of at home. Besides, who would post my blogs if I were gone.

I would love to go....but I just don't know if it will happen!

I was horrifically jealous of the ladies who went last year....even put a button on my blog about it!

Just so you know....I would be happy to hold back your hair if need be......just so you do the same for me! (hee-hee)

Going to San Francisco and meeting online friends would be great fun. However, I do not think that I will be making the trip. My daughter-in-law of " What're you looking at?" went to the event in Chicago. She had a good time, learned some things, and met friends.

I'm going. I will be booking my stuff next month. I CAN'T wait and if you go, it will be THAT much greater.

I was with you last year - I had only recently started blogging regularly and all that. THIS year I can't wait to go and interface with all the people I read each day.

I'm kind of stalking you today - I have the laptop on the couch and sick kids and have been on this thing ALL day.
