Right, Write

See why I don't make resolutions?

Just by making the statement that I was going to write more gave my brain permission to shut down. In the few years I have blogged, I've noticed the writers block that appears at the beginning of each new year. It happens to most bloggers at one time or another. I assumed it was because of all the fodder starting with school in the fall, on to Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and the finale of New Years. With all the commotion, in those last four months, most bloggers are burnt out.

I can't use that as an excuse. Yea, look back, I didn't blog much then. Eighteen posts in four months. I can't decide if that's because I was so busy or because I was tending to my FaceBook addiction.

It's been pointed out to me, on several occasions, that my brain spins around like a Rolodex. My thoughts usually are two rotations ahead of my speaking. I can be all over the board because of this. When I write on a regular basis, I'm more likely to keep myself in check and organize my direction better.

So where the fack am I going with all this? Who knows.

I've never been a writer, just someone that empties her brain out by way of blogging. It's getting crowded with clutter, I better purge more often.

To be continued ....

... for my own sanity.

Look forward to more purging.... Facebook is fun but following your blog and a few others is actually more enjoyable, at least to me...

It IS a nice do -- whether it's keeping your brain "in" or not!! :)

You are busy -- life is full, you've taken on a new hobby (okay, the man is not a "hobby" lol!!!) -- and you are fishing and boating and sucking up life like a sponge. That's a very good thing. Healthy some would say!! :) (that would be moi!).

So you don't blog as much as you used to -- remember..."blogging without obligation" -- and when you do blog it's always something interesting.

Live your life. It's the only one we've got!! ♥

You include the coolest photos! Love this one! You and your sister are talented ladies. You're right about it being hard to find topics in the New Year. I go through blogging phases, and the main thing that keeps me going is my writing students. A lot of them come visit, and they inspire me to come up with material for them, which is why my blog is so "writer-heavy."

I also agree with Sherry, who notes that you have a life, a real life, that keeps you busy. You don't live inside your computer screen (which it seems many bloggers do)!
