My Secret Boyfriend

If you read Mrs. G at Derfwad Manor, you know this happily married to Mr. G woman, has a shit load of secret boyfriends. Pilfer through her archives to see who is on her wish list.

I never really had a secret boyfriend.

I lie.

I have one, and until now, I never spoke of him.

Because ::: sigh :::

He's served as a Republican.

For years I have admired him and though he'd make a great president.

Retired Four-Star General

National Security Advisor

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff

Former Secretary of State

And now, supporter of Barack Obama

Among the many things this respected man has voiced his opinion on, the two that ring true for me are ...

Colin Powell tried to convince George Bush not to invade Iraq.

And, recently his thoughts on McCain's choice as running mate are "... she fails to meet the primary qualification for a vice president: the ability to assume the presidency at any time."

Jumpin' Jeepers People!

I guess droppin' the g is going to require us to forgo the Webster's and start stockin' the schools with the Urban Dictionary.

Hey darlin', I'm goin' to run for Vice President of the United States.

I'm also thinkin' I'll be doin' nothin' 'bout my grammar either. What the heck? We're all jus 'bout bein' real people here aren't we? Jus normal every day people.

You betcha some folks will mock me. But doggone it, this is how I am.

You're darn tootin' Hilary couldn't get away with this. Can ya'll imagin' George W. or Good Ole Joe Biden talkin' like this?

If the McCain does win the ticket, [cough cough] Sarah Palin will be a hoot negotiatin' with international leaders.

Do you suppose Sarah's last name really is Paling?

Political Sex

I remember when politics and religion were two eye-brow raisers.

Now its politics and sex.

I'm more than sick of reading about Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his lying sexcapades.

New York's Governor Eliot Spitzer took the lime light for a couple weeks.

Yesterday's news broke the story of Michigan's Senator Debbie Stabenow's husband ... busted paying a prostitute for some good times.

And now ... can this be true?
*wink*

Politics at it's Finest

I'm not listing a couple men in politics that may or may not have put better judgment on the back burner:

David Vitter, Mark Foley, John F. Kennedy, Gary Hart, Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Eliot Spitzer, Larry Craig, *John Edwards, *John McCain

*The jury's still out on these two.

I goo/gled for female politicians caught on the down low and couldn't find anything in the first 10 pages so if anyone wants to dig deeper, have at it.

I'm not going to point out that Hillary and Barack are creating sound bites to be used against whom ever runs against John. You can't divide to conquer, unless your agenda is for personal proliferation. Valid facts should stand on their own merit without incorporating hypothetical scenarios.

Remember when I posted about Detroit's Mayor Kwame Kilpatrickgate? His perjury, his lies, his affair, his lawsuits that cost the people of Detroit almost 9 MILLION dollars? Well, that mess is still on going. Now lets add MURDER to the pot.

Tonight he is holding a State of the City address. Right now, more people would rather hear his speech on stepping down from office.

It has come to light that in 2002, Mayor Maggot Kilpatrick had a little party at the Manoogian Boogian Mansion where he and his WIFE and SONS reside. Mrs. Mayor arrived home early to find strippers exotic dancers as entertainment. One in particular, dancing for the Mayor. Mrs. Mayor joined in by hitting this dancer, Tamara Greene, with a wooden object. The dancer later filed charges.

Early 2003 Tamara Green was gunned down while sitting next to her boyfriend outside a home. The boyfriend was not shot. Just Tamara. Just like a hit.
::: insert shocked look here :::

Friends and family state she feared for her life in the months that preceded her death. She was trying to stay in hiding. Someone was threatening her. The family alleges the Detroit police hasn't handled the case properly and accused them of a cover up.

The Mayor's office denied any such party or involvement with a cover up. A retired clerk at the police department has come forward and signed an affidavit stating she was in charge of opening incoming mail. She recalls sorting a police report stating Ms. Green and 2 other strippers were dancing at the mayors home when his wife came home unexpectedly. The report included her trip to the hospital to seek medical attention.

You can't make this sh*t up. It's flying out of Detroit faster than anyone can keep track of. In the mean time, what is happening to the city? How much MORE money is this scumbag Mayor going to cost us?

Oh Say Can You See ....

I received and e-mail with a photo attached asking me to pass it along to everyone in my address book. For the most part I usually hit delete, but sometimes things seem so odd that I go to Snopes (dot) com to check it further. That site usually has the scoop on what is true or false as to what is being passed along in e-mails.

I had heard on several occasions that Barak Obama opposed wearing a US flag pin lapel, no biggie, I don't wear one either. But as a candidate for United States President, you'd think the guy wouldn't mind (as long as he's standing there) honoring the flag with his hand over his heart and at the very lease mouthing the words to the Star Spangled Banner.

If you read further, this photo isn't a fluke, there is a video attached to disprove the possibility of it being photo shopped. In fairness they do show two photos of him covering his heart while our national anthem was played ... these photos were supplied the Obama campaign.

Since you might just go to Snopes to check it out, one other thing I like to point out is the explanation of how Al Gore was misinterpreted as claiming to have invented the internet. Perfect lesson showing that the choice of one word, used out of content, can change the whole structure and meaning of a sentence. Unrelated, I know, but I always wondered why the general public actually believed that Al Gore thought he invented the internet.

Even I'm not that gullible, and I am blond *wink*
