Oh boy ... what I could do with that kind of money:
2008 Malibu Hybrid
3 weeks in Fiji Beach Resort & Spa
Buy a Summer Cottage in Upper Peninsula Michigan
Sponsor 65 children for one year

Oh no!!
I think one of my kids needs to be a kind of doctor who chops stuff out of people, looks like a good gig.
Yeah, it cost me $70,000 give or take to have my colon resected. Thank God for insurance. Although I'm still paying about $4K off myself, a little at a time.
That picture is icky.
aw, crap.
I'm sorry. :o(
Candy: yeah, my insurance sucks so I'll have to wait and see my portion. It's not going to be pretty. I'm still paying for my ER trip from last March.
But I do feel better =)
HOLY CRAP!!
i need to have mine taken out, but i think i'll pass till i get me some insurance...cause DAMN!
Biddy: mine wasn't the usual in and out in one day. I think 'cuz it was ER ... I was in there 4 days .. hence the outrageous "hotel" bill.
Yikes! The silver lining: At least insurance will pick up some of it.
O. M. G.
You have GOT to be kidding.
that cannot be correct.
that is just INSANE!!!!!
Get out! Insurance is going to cover some of that, right?
Yes, the insurance will cover 70% after the first $3,500 of the things they approve. I'll have to wait for a final bill after the ins. pays what they are covering.
Well considering the shape you were in and how it could have been much worse, small price to pay!
Thank goodness for insurance,
and your on the other side of all that!!
$5.00 per month for the rest of your life. That is horrible. I'm glad I never see a bill from your brother on all his hospital visits.I woould be living in the street. I like the idea of the Fuji Resort
Fiji
Thanks for the diagram. Now I understand those scars on my stomach.
Yikes!!! Well there goes vacation - for the rest of your life.
It's little consolation but at least you are well again and feeling fine, and you have some insurance. I know those insurance companies suck big time.
Call me!!
wow that sucks but yes it's good you had it done and are fine and healthy now right? Just keep telling yourself that in preparation of getting your part of the bill! :o)
Maybe you could sell it and buy that new car. It is just rediculous isn't it.
HOLY CRIPES!
Having laproscopic gallbladder surgery is $25K??!! And your end is 30%??!!
My sympathies dear. Suddenly coughing up $700 for my ultrasound back in March (that I though got lost in their billing) that I finally got billed for in AUGUST doesn't seem so bad.
