Last night, I woke up about 3AM from a deep sleep. My heart was racing. It wasn't a dream that startled me. It was a thought.
I thought that my dog Quinn had just died. He was curled up behind my knees sound asleep, but I nudged him anyway, just to make double sure.
I went back to sleep and didn't think about it again ... until just this evening.
My son Bryan came over with Bently.
Just as they were leaving, he said, "Oh yeah, do you remember Jake? Uncle Ron and Aunt Pattie's dog?" (ex-in laws to me now)
I said, "Yeah, Jake ... sweet 'ole Jake." My kids have loved that dog since day one. Jake is 16 years old, so he's always been around for them.
Then Bryan said "He died last night. Just had a heart attack in the middle of the night and died."

oh wow!!! You are very intuitive!! That was no coincidence....
You're like a pet psychic or something!
I've never had that happen but it always freaks me out a little when I hear about it.
I'll just remind you of the wood tray...
San : oh yeah, :: shivers ::
I'll post about that one ... in time.
We had a beautiful pure-bred collie that we rescued because he was too tall and too muscular to be a show dog (which is what the breeder wanted him for). He was a sweet, intelligent, gentle giant and was devoted to all of us, but especially the kids. A little more than a year ago - just before his 11th birthday - I woke up about 5:00 in the morning and knew something was wrong. I got up and went downstairs to check out the house. The house was fine but our furry family member was dead - still lying on the floor in his usual spot under the kitchen table where he'd gone to sleep the night before.
That is spooky! You're like Patricia Arquette on Medium - waking from a dream with "clues" about a death.
Yes, I have, many times.
IMO there are no such things as coincidence...we are tuned in to things on levels that we can't even begin to understand and I don't question it anymore. It just is.
It's a gift Nancy...
That gave me chills.
I worked with a guy who told me about a conversation he'd had with his girlfriend. As they were talking she paused and said, "I think my dog just died."
They were miles away from the dog.
It had been hit by a car while they were out.
ugh i have things like that happen alot...and it scares the piss out of me
so sad...
creepy things like that happen to me all the time. happened to me just last sunday as i was driving to my husband's parents (i will never admit relation to those people) house to set up for my son's bday party. i kept getting this awful wonderment of what would happen if something happened to me and i had to be rushed to the hospital. would they still have the party? cause i wouldn't want to waste all that food...
turns out my husband's grandpa took a horrible tumble and was rushed away to the emergency room in an ambulance five minutes after arriving to the party!
we had the party anyway.
cause i didn't want to waste all that food...
p.s. he is fine now. recovering from a badly bruised hip thats all.
:o)
Battling with our lil' girl and AIHA past few weeks, not looking good, 11 yrs. we have shared our lives with her's since she found us at the humane society when she was just 3 mo's. old, she's heeler mix they said, her normaly 30+#'s has dropped to 25#'s. Off right now to pick up another med to see if it will help, but decided to stop by here first, wow....
You're evidently psychic, but in need of some calibration.
I haven't had it happen, but I bet witchypoo would be able to tell you.
yes i've had these kind of experiences. And, personally, I believe there is something more to it.
xx
pinks
Never had this happen, but sure is spookey!!
I haven't, but I'm open to the possibility.
Wow! That's freaky!
After my grandpa passed, he showed up in a dream out of nowhere looked at me and said "tell her I'm OK."
I told my grandma the next time and she was so relieved. Because she had been wondering if, when he passed, if he was in pain, etc.
ya know what?...I don't really belive in "coincidence"...I think things happen for a reason. We might not KNOW the reason, but it's there. So maybe you are "sensitive" and have a gift. But it is scary sometimes!!
Intuition is an amazing thing, isn't it? After my husband and I had talked about several people ("I wonder whatever happened to....."),
about 6 of them came to our Gallery. We hadn't seen them for years.
When I get up at 3 am it’s usually gas.
Oh forgot, two week before 911 I woke up and started crying. My wife asked what was wrong and I told her I heard people creaming and people dying and it had something to do with airplanes.
That stuff happens to me all the time. I don’t want to know anymore. I want it to be gas.
I missed this post! I am more and more convinced that there ISN'T such thing as coincidence.
This gives me even MORE chills!!
