Mine was a big, heavy knitted cardigan - like a horse blanket. I still have my mum's. She wore it, my sister wore it and then me. We actually had one each as little children. There was no escape from it.lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05392205573326695683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3224701383437884032.post-1120942514973520282008-01-17T12:53:00.000-05:002008-01-17T12:53:00.000-05:00My grandmother saved my mother's First Communion d...My grandmother saved my mother's First Communion dress for her grandchildren and as first born I was given it for my own First Communion.

Since my grandmother lived in the same house at the time of the ceremony, my grandmother and mother put me in the same dress, in the same pose, with the same facial features in front of the same fireplace.

My grandmother then sent the photos off to our cousins in Ireland. They sent it back a few weeks later with a letter that said they already had that picture of Vicki (my mother) and if they could intstead send the one of me it would be appreciated. The photos were so similar that they didn't believe it was me! It also doesn't help that my mother and I are practically identical. The only difference between our baby pictures is that hers are in black and white and mine are in color (and since I was a baby of the '80's, I had pretty horrific clothes too).Working Girl Twohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12214647846250962302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3224701383437884032.post-77768612196308349602008-01-15T23:03:00.000-05:002008-01-15T23:03:00.000-05:00that is so cute! i love that you did that. my mom ...that is so cute! i love that you did that.
my mom saved some stuff of mine, but lost it a couple years ago. so i'll be saving EVERY piece of clothing my son wears. :o)Desiree Eaglinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17151743719945997936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3224701383437884032.post-21266068967615608782008-01-15T12:18:00.000-05:002008-01-15T12:18:00.000-05:00Very cute photos! Unfortunately she loaned them to one of her sisters in Canada and never got them back. So I don't have them.

I've saved some of my daughters things (quite a few actually). Her newborn sleepers and stuff fit her babydoll she got when she was three.
